We made it through the most contest-packed portion of our season, and now we can sit back, relax and enjoy the festive times! I picture Al, K0AD, in his Sweepstakes red velvet outfit, enjoying a cup of eggnog by the fire! Enjoy the time off after four large contests in five weeks! What a stretch!
Last weekend was the ARRL 10 Meter Contest and conditions were incredible! The conditions were met head-on by 88 MWA’ers! If everyone gets their log in, we’ll have 84 logs to represent MWA! Well done everyone! Not a club record turnout but a great representation of our high activity levels!
Speaking of records……….it appears that we may have a new Club Record Score for the 10 Meter Contest! Our reported score is 21,328,104 points! This score is 51.18% higher than last year and shatters the old club record of 19.1 million points. Let’s pray for log accuracy so our final score will maintain a new record! Congrats to all who got on the air. It’s a team effort to beat the previous record……a true team effort!!
Team 8 won the 10 Meter Contest team competition! This is the sixth team to win a contest this season. Well done! Here are the results:
